The expression x ln x is the product of x and log₅x, and so we use the product rule:

d dx x log5x	=	(1) log5x + x 1 x ln(5)
	=	ln(x) ln(5) + 1 ln(5)	Since log5x = ln(x) / ln(5)
	=	ln(x) + 1 ln(5)
