We already know that the slope of the tangent line is 16. To find the equation of the line, we need both the slope and a point. The point we use is the point on the graph where the line touches:

Point = (2, f(2)) = (2, 20)

y = m(x - x₀) + y₀
    = 16(x - 2) + 20
    = 16x - 12.
